The new deputy chairman of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine was Kyiv Appeal Court Judge Stepan Gladiy.
According to the aucc,HQCJ the election of a new deputy took place during a meeting of the Commission on August 9, reports Law and Business.
Following the resignation of the HQCJ deputy chairman Stanislav Shtok, his position was taken by Candidate of Law S.Gladiy.
He received his law education from Kharkov Law Institute. From 1989 to 1993 he worked as an intern of the People’s Judge of the Kyiv District People’s Court of Poltava, trainee of Assistant Prosecutor, Assistant Prosecutor of Leninsky District of Poltava, Prosecutor’s Office of Poltava Oblast, Senior Investigator of the Prosecutor’s Office of Poltava City of Poltava Oblast.
In 1993 he was elected People’s Judge of the Lenin District People’s Court of Poltava. From 1998 to 2009 he worked as a judge of the Court of Appeal of Poltava region, from 2009 – judge of the Court of Appeal of Kyiv, Registrar of the Criminal Court of Criminal Appeal of the City of Kyiv, Judge of the Kyiv Court of Appeal.
In 2018, S.Gladiy was elected for a four-year term as a member of the High Qualifications Commission of Judges of Ukraine to the 15th regular Congress of Judges of Ukraine.
