Germany has allocated 900 thousand Euros for rehabilitation of the victims in Donbass

The Government of Germany has allocated 900 thousand Euros to fund the psychological and social aid projects for the victims of the conflict in Eastern Ukraine, according to the Embassy of Germany to Ukraine.

The funds will be transferred to the charity organization “Maltese Relief Services” to cover the projects of this and coming years. On its part, the organization will also contribute to the implementation of this initiative by investing 90 thousand Euros accumulated on their own.

The above project, which the Government of Germany already supported by allocating up to 300 thousand Euros last year, provides not only the aid for the direct victims of the conflict, but also the educational and training activities for the representatives of local authorities and charity organizations.

Donetsk, Lugansk and Kyiv Regions, as well as the City of Kyiv are the target regions for fund allocation.

As previously reported, in 2016, Germany is to allocate 1 million Euros to support the International Migration Organization, which helps the internally displaced persons in Ukraine.
