How many Ukrainians have left the country in the last two years?

Apart from the internally displaced persons who fled from the occupied Donbass and Crimea territories, there is approximately a million Ukrainian citizens who emigrated abroad. The infographics clearly demonstrate where Ukrainians flee to most frequently.

Thus, overall in 2014-2015, 900 thousand 600 people have left Ukraine, including almost 750 thousand who emigrated to Russia and tried to obtain a refugee status there. About 81 thousand people moved to Belarus, whereas less than 5 thousand emigrated to other European countries. According to the data available, almost 55 thousand Ukrainian citizens have left for other countries of the world.
