Investigators of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau have been granted a wiretap clearance

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau has been given a clearance to use special devices for secret obtainment of information.

It is laid down in the Resolution #257 of the Government, published on the Cabinet’s official website.

In accordance with the document, the Government has incorporated the NABU into the list of state agencies allowed to develop, produce, sell, and purchase the special technical devices for the purpose of accessing information off of the communication lines, as well as other means of secret obtainment of information.

It is noted that the Resolution has been adopted in order to ensure the efficient performance of duties entrusted to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau.
