The budget increased funding of anti-corruption structures

State budget-2018 provides for an increase in funding of NABU by 11%, NACP – 13%, Asset Recovery National Agency – 5 times higher.

According to the text of the law “On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2018”, published on the website of the Verkhovna Rada, the State Budget of Ukraine for 2018 provides for allocation of 857 million UAH to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, that is 10.8% more than in 2017. At the same time in 2017, 773.6 million UAH were allocated to NABU.

In addition, according to the law on the state budget, in 2018, 683.5 million UAH are allocated to the National Agency on Corruption Prevention, that is 13% more than a year ago.

Out of the total amount designated for the NACP in the state budget-2018, 513.7 million UAH are provided for financing the statutory activity of political parties.

The media noted that the National Agency of Ukraine on the detection, search and management of assets obtained from corruption and other crimes in 2018, 253 million UAH were earmarked, which is five times more than in 2017.

651.6 million UAH are designated for the activities of the State Bureau of Investigation, 156.4 million UAH – for the National Security and Defense Council.
