The CCU deferred the consideration of the issue on constitutionality of the lustration

The Constitutional Court deferred the consideration of the case on the constitutionality of certain provisions of the Ukrainian law on lustration.

It is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to CCU press office.

“Yesterday there was a meeting in a closed part. The decision on the issue is still pending”, it is said in a statement.

Thus, the judges will consider the case on representation of the Supreme Court regarding the conformity with constitutionality of the third and the tenth provisions of Article 133 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judicial System and the Status of Judges” in the wording of the law “On ensuring the right to a fair trial” only at the next meeting.
