The minimum wage in 2017 will not be revised, – Ministry of Social Policy

The revision of the minimum wage in Ukraine is planned only in 2018. This is the position of the Ministry of Social Policy in negotiations with the International Monetary Fund.

According to the press service of the Ministry, it was stated by the Minister of Social Policy Andrey Reva.
“This indicator will not be revised only in 2017, and in 2018-2019 it will be increased in view of possible negative consequences. We proved by calculations the need to raise the minimum wage in the future, and defended the right to review this indicator in the future”, he said.

The Minister also noted that the growth rate of the minimum wage would be at least more than the level of inflation.
