Oleksandr Udovichenko, Deputy Prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Counsellor of Justice, who recently submitted a claim of the former First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Andrii Portnov on the crime of the Head of the Sevastopil Marine Plant and the Zorya-Mashproekt enterprise to the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations, suddenly resigned from the prosecutor’s office.
The correspondent of the “ZiB” newspaper received a confirmation of the official`s dismissal from the Prosecutor`s Office of the ARC.
The claim, which led to the initiation of the criminal proceeding, stated the treason committed by the manager of Petro Poroshenko (back then the beneficiary of the enterprise). The accused person headed the Sevastopil Marine Plant, and now he leads the largest defense enterprise of Ukraine Zorya-Mashproekt. This man actually recognized Sevastopil as a Russian city of federal significance and sent reports to the Russian authorities on the work of the company.
According to the information posted on the website of the Crimean Prosecutor’s Office, Olexander Udovychenko was born in 1988 in the city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky, Odesa region. In 2010 he graduated from the Odesa I. I. Mechnikov National University.
His Prosecutor`s career started as Trainee Assistant Prosecutor in the city of Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region in 2012.
Since June 2012: Trainee Prosecutor of the Nova Kakhovka Prosecutor’s Office (Kherson region).
2012 – 2015: Prosecutor of the Nova Kakhovka Prosecutor’s Office (Kherson region), of the Suvorov district of the Odesa city, of the Odesa city (Odesa region).
2015 – 2016: positions of Deputy Head of Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky local Prosecutor’s Office of the Odesa region and Kominternivsk local Prosecutor’s Office of the Odesa region.
In 2016: Chief of the Investigation division of the Department of Supervision over the Procedural Activities of Preliminary Investigation Bodies and Criminal Court Proceedings of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
In 2017: Head of the Division for Supervision over Criminal proceedings of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
According to the order № 162k from the General Prosecutor of Ukraine of September 29, 2017, Olexander Udovychenko was appointed as Deputy Prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
The Prosecutor of the region and the General Prosecutor of Ukraine repeatedly encouraged him for the dedicated service to the Prosecutor’s Offices.
