Ukrainians want to reintegrate the occupied Donbass – survey

This is evidenced by survey data on Social Cohesion and Reconciliation (SCORE) Index, conducted by SeeD with the support of the US Agency for International Development.

Therefore, the graph reflects the results of a survey on a ten-point scale (where 0 – absolutely not supported, 10 – completely supported); the majority of Ukrainian population, in particular, of the West (6.7 points), Central (6.6 points), South (6.1 points) and Eastern (6.4 points) parts of Ukraine supports the reintegration of the uncontrolled area of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

“The citizens of Ukraine living in certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, where the public authorities temporarily do not carry out their duties, support such an option with certain conditions”, it is said in a statement.

“Approximately half of Ukrainians living in the areas controlled by the Government of Ukraine support the idea to leave Donbass as part of Ukraine on the same conditions as its other areas after decentralization”, the Ministry reports with reference to the results of the survey.
The survey was conducted in all regions of Ukraine, including the areas not controlled by the Government of Ukraine.
