It says so on the site of the United Nations with a reference to the World Food Program (WFP).
“ Two years of violence, shootings, living in fear have irreversibly impacted the lives of thousands in Eastern Ukraine ”, Giancarlo Stopponi , the UN World Food Program representative in Ukraine, said.
He also called upon all sides of the conflict to “ensure full and unimpeded humanitarian access to people in need of food supplies”.
It is noted that the residents of occupied districts of Lugansk Region and of the communities near the “conflict line” suffer from the worst food shortage.
